Let's talk about intentions — without them where are we going? 🤷‍♀️

Rachel Richter

Hi ! 👋This week I'd love to share with you more about the practice of alignment: specifically intentions. Thriving is impossible when there’s misalignment — when actions, priorities, and intentions don’t connect. Alignment is a practice of being intentional with your actions. No matter the size of what you're building or doing or how expansive your vision is, everything you choose to do can benefit from executing with intention.Intention: What you want to create, to resolve, or to be.This is a higher level than priorities. It can be the internal engine that fuels your priorities and actions. As an example, let's say you want to write a book: The question becomes, "What is my intention with writing this book?" It may be that your intention is to leave a legacy, share a new idea, create awareness etc. All of those reasons are intentions. Releasing the book is a priority through which you realize that intention. Everything you are doing to release that book: writing, editing, marketing, designing the cover, publishing, etc. are the actions that connect to that priority.Back to the definition of alignment: “When actions accurately reflect priorities and intentions”This begs the question, “What is my intention?🤔” — It’s yours to decide, you get to choose it.💭Alignment helps us recognize how much choice we actually have so we can choose to intentionally thrive, personally and professionally. 🚀

“I ask myself, where are my actions not reflective of my intention and being honest about it because here’s the beautiful thing…”

I’m so glad we’ve connected. If there is someone in your circle who you think can benefit from reading what you've just read, share it intentionally with them! It is how ideas that create impact can spread the most.Best,RachelP.S. I’d love to know your thoughts, aha moments, & takeaways!Reply to this email and let me know.
