What iteration really means on a daily basis.

Because business is personal. This newsletter is dedicated to your own alignment journey.
“Iteration is the mother of perfection.”
Rachel Richter
Hi ! 👋
🔨 You’re in the right place — this is still the newsletter dedicated to alignment! The new title, Get INLIGN with Rachel Richter, and the fresh design are more aligned with where we want to take the practice of alignment! This extends to the INLIGN website too. As of today, you will be noticing big changes…check it out here.
Given this big update, the topic of iteration is very top of mind. Many have heard me say “iteration is the mother of perfection”. What is iteration? Continuous improvement is part of it but it is more than that.
Iterating means not grandfathering in anything. At INlGN we question everything. Nothing is off limits. That is how we can continue to be leaders in the field. There are no laurels to rest on. Every interaction with a person is new information. So we question everything, test every assumption, think about relevancy & articulation, revisit KPIs and execution strategies, even after good results. How else could you possibly achieve next-level results sustainably?
Without iterating on every detail in 2022, the articulation and visualization of the concept of alignment would not be where it is today. INLIGN would not be able to model and implement the best practices of alignment with leaders, teams, and organizations.
Similarly, the newsletter would not be consistently maturing into something to model and support a person’s own alignment practice. By continually engaging in your own alignment, you create deeper connection with yourself. This is why alignment, is so vital on every level: because deeply connected people do not neglect or harm themselves or others intentionally. So we will continue to engage on all things alignment for more connected individuals & organizations for a less disconnected world. 🤝
Cheers,Rachel
